September 11th, 2005, when PMMO Members in United Kingdom
converge upon the Belsize
Music Rooms for an all day 'PMMO Meet-n-Greet-n-Play Day!'
We
have some very talented PMMO members from the U.K. and I can barely
contain myself for patiently waiting to see and hear them play
in person! It's going to be a FUN experience for ALL of us!!

following VIDEO is downloadable for ALL users, and is purposely
optimized for minimum acceptable quality to make a fast
download, yet retain acceptable viewing quality.

Dial-Up
Users must...MUST download:

All
video files are optimized to be as small as possible, yet still
retain acceptable viewing quality. By virtue of a slower Dial-Up
connection, files automatically take longer to download. You can
still share in the fun by scheduling your downloads to occur when
you will be away from your PC for 30 to 60 minutes. Begin the
download, then take a break, play your piano, watch a movie, take
yourself out to dinner, or just go to bed and view it in the morning!
Depending on your connection speed, 1 MB of data over a Dial-Up
connection will download in 4 to 8 minutes. 4 MB of data will
take 4 times as long.

To
download video to your PC, Right Click the photo and
select "SAVE TARGET AS". I suggest creating a folder
on your desk top called "Virtual Vacation", and save
all video files into that folder. That way, you'll be able to
easily find them for viewing, and delete them when you're done.

After
the video above, the Following Videos are highlights of
my visit
with Piano Magic Members from United Kingdom,
as it occurred September 11, 2005.
As
with all above videos, Dial-Up users must DOWNLOAD (right
click and 'Save Target As')
Remember,
none of us had EVER met each other face-to-face before
this day! ALL our interaction prior to 9/11/2005 has occurred
through the PMMO Member Forums. Each person is probably
quite nervous about meeting ME for the first time...then
imagine how they probably feel with ME looking over their
shoulder as they play...and RECORDING IT ON VIDEO!! YIKES!!!
Under those challenging conditions, they ALL did GREAT!!
I am extremely PROUD of the accomplishments of my students
in United Kingdom, and look forward to see what else they
will be able to incorporate musically in the coming months.
Just
to call attention for the folks who are bound to overlook
it...there is an EXTREME ABSENCE OF WRITTEN MUSIC from
the piano! What's more, your music played 'by ear' is
more interesting than most of the written arrangements
that shackle 'music readers'! For less than TWO YEARS
maximum playing experience, you're ALL doing GREAT...exactly
as I expected you would!!
