Michael Anderson's
PERFORMANCE RESUME'

MICHAEL ANDERSON is a self-taught multi-keyboardist (piano, synthesizer, pedal bass and organ) who has performed professionally since 1967. Michael performs as a "One Man Band," a solo instrumentalist, and accompanist for vocalists, comedians and dinner theater. He has performed as ORGANIST for Atlanta Braves Baseball and worked with notable personalities as Liberace, Loretta Lynn, Melissa Manchester, Anita Bryant and Solomon King. He has performed for local, state, national and international dignitaries, including Governors of Georgia, the King of Belgium and the Canadian Prime Minister.

Michael's recording of "Georgia On My Mind" (from his album SONGS OF THE SOUTH) was used by WSB Radio and Television to promote the LEWIS GRIZZARD SHOW during 1981 and 1982. His music has been highlighted on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH WALTER CRONKITE and was background music to a CBS NEWS SPECIAL PRESENTATION by ROGER MUDD. The program was titled CARTER COUNTRY and toured the roots of Georgia's Favorite Son, PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER.

Michael is the author of PIANO MAGIC: The Secrets of Playing By Ear (now in its 5TH EDITION and 8TH PRINTING); taught in over 128 Colleges, Universities and Community Education programs throughout the Southeastern USA. You may have seen or heard Michael as a guest on local TV and radio talk shows, discussing his playing style and teaching method. He has personally taught his method to over 7000 live students (and over 35,000 students worldwide through his books and "Piano Magic Members Only" web site).
